A new worm farm with a difference – constructed from timber – compost worms love it.

The Scrappit truely is an easy care, low maitenance solution for helping the environment by reducing landfill. It’s large size (900mmx400mmx440mm)and timber sides insulate and keep the worms at a fairly constant temperature. Two lower doors allow easy access to the castings.

At present, delivery is only available in the Brisbane City Council area, but for those in other areas, please make contact and we’ll  arrange to get it to you at the best posible price.

The best part is that this farm includes approx 2000 farm fresh worms already bedded in!

1. Worms can consume their own bodyweight in one day.
2. Compost worms thrive on organic waste – manures and foodwaste.
3. Worms have no eyes or ears and breathe through their skins.
4. Worms have up to 5 hearts.
5. They have no known diseases and very few predators.
6. The life span of a worm is 2-3 years.
7. In ideal conditions, one worm can increase to over 1200 in one year.
8. If you cut a worm in half – you don’t get 2 worms!
